The Nighthawks, under leader Ian Davies, is a fully rehearsed 19 piece Dance band with both male & female vocalists.
The band features the classic big band line up of 5 Saxes, 4 Trumpets, 4 Trombones and 4 rhythm.
All of the members are experienced, professional musicians with a lifetime of experience and a love of swing and dance music.
Members' previous experience includes the Royal Marines, the Ivy Benson Band and the London Symphony Orchestra..... What more could you ask?
The band offers strict tempo dance and classic swing era programmes, including arrangements made famous by Glen Miller, Ted Heath, Bette Midler..... we could go on & on.

Saxpak
This seven piece saxophone ensemble is the Cornish incarnation of the world famous London based group of the same name.
The group uses the same musical arrangements and some of the same players. The main advantage available to Cornish customers is the price!
The repertoire covers jazz standards, pop, swing, English light orchestral music, film music and the classics.
While not being suitable for dancing this exciting and talented group will add a touch of class and individuality to your garden party, fund raiser, corporate launch or wedding reception.
